Today Delhi has witnessed its first rain of this rainy season. Rains and pakoras are similar to each other. Usually pakoras are made of besan but this time I tried them in an unusual way by using broken wheat. I have penned down these pakoras recipe from a magazine. Pakoras were turned out very crispy and everyone at my home enjoyed a lot.!!Ingredients
* Daliya 250 gms
* Besan 50 gms
* Spinach(Finely chopped) 1 bowl
* Green chilly 3-4
* jeera 1 tsp
* Ginger 1 tsp (chopped)
* Oil for deep frying
* Salt As per taste
Method
Soak daliya in 2 cups of water for three to four hours. Drain out the water. In a mixing bowl add daliya, green chillies, ginger, salt, jeera, spinach, chopped onion, and besan. Mix it very well. Heat sufficient oil in a deep bottom pan. Make small dumplings out of the mixture with the help of the spoon and gently drop into the hot oil. Reduce the flame. Fry these pakoras till golden brown in color. Drain on an absorbent paper. Serve hot with tomato ketchup. Enjoy.....
